2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu Episode 11 Discussion & Gallery

2.43 Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu’s episode 11 was nerve-wracking. It’s been a while since an Anime was able to me on edge so much. Here’s the thing – usually, the protagonists always end up winning the championship, right? However, if there’s a possibility for 2.43 to have a second season, they could very well lose this game. And the Anime made sure to have the most neck-to-neck volleyball game in history. It also doesn’t help that the episode ended up in a huge cliffhanger. Was the ball in our out? Did Seiin win, or is it going to be a deuce again?

There’s one thing that 2.43 did really well, though. Explaining why Seiin is so strong, which I think is also why they deserve to win. Subaru’s team has one excellent player – Subaru. Everyone in the team plays to support him. On the other hand, While Seiin has two aces – Haijima and Yuni – all players are pretty good. This only happened because everyone is playing for the same reason, to play with everyone in Nationals. Meanwhile, Subaru’s team resolve is weaker.

There were also some scenes from this episode that made my heart skip a beat. The one where we can hear Subaru’s knee cracking is just one example.
