Beastars Season 2 Episode 8 Discussion & Gallery
Beastars season two, episode eight, made me realize that I don’t mind its slower pace at all. Even though some scenes of this episode didn’t really add much to the story, the truth is that they all have a deeper meaning that offers a better overview of the Beastars world and its ramifications. For instance, in the scene at the beginning we’re we follow Sheila – a small character that isn’t really that important – going shopping with her sheep friend. Although there’s not really much happening to bring the main characters to their objective, the scene still explained very well what carnivorous and herbivorous in their teenage years are feeling. They all try to be polite to each other, but both sides feel that they can’t get too close. However, these two characters’ small shopping spree shows that they just need to lower their barriers to become friends.
In fact, most of the episode had something to do with barriers. For instance, Juno and Haru’s scene clearly shows that they could become great friends – if they weren’t in love with the same wolf. Meanwhile, Louis decides to lift his barriers even higher by cutting all his connections with Haru. That’s the only way he’ll be able to be fearless enough to survive the dark market, after all.
Finally, the scene where Legoshi finds his strength again and can still protect herbivores with his arm strength was pretty nice. The fight wasn’t that long, but it showed our favorite wolf taking another step towards his goals. Did you enjoy Beastars season two, episode eight? Tell me everything down below. ?
