Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Episode 10 Discussion & Gallery

Before I even comment on what I thought about Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou’s episode 10, I want to discuss Keiichi’s dream at the beginning of the episode. It’s not the first time he dreamt about killing someone. In the first episodes, he saw himself killing Rena, and, if I’m not mistaken, the scene was fairly similar to how he ended up killing her. So, my question is: Is he seeing the future? If that’s the case, can we expect that he’s going to kill Satoko’s uncle at the end of this arc? Or maybe he’s just able to foresee the death itself, and it will be one of the girls who ends up killing the guy. I don’t really care, though. For once, I just want one of the characters to kill the man and jump into the next arc. He surely deserves it!

Even so, I liked what they did with Satoko’s character. The scene where she runs away from Keiichi made my skin crawl, and I believe it represented well the idea of how one would react if they were being mistreated at home. It also made me extremely sad, but I guess not all Animes can be a walk in the park. Finally, it was important to explain why social security isn’t doing anything. That was something that I couldn’t understand very well – I even thought it was a cultural thing. But, since Satoko lied about being mistreated in the past, it makes sense the organization would hear her words with a grain of salt. Did you enjoy Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou’s episode 10?
