Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Episode 11 Discussion & Gallery

Maybe it’s just me, but after watching Higurashi’s episode 11, I’m getting a different vibe from this arc than the others. Although some of the characters have shown some murderer looks (Shion even hits Keiichi in the head with a chair), none actually seem to be possessed by the deity. Yes, it’s clear as light that all of Satoko’s close friends are ready to spill some blood to help her. Still, I can’t see any of the characters doing it. Instead, they seem to be working together and trying to change fate in a legal way.

The episode was fine. I enjoyed watching the protagonists fighting for Satoko in the child service department, and I loved when Keiichi motivated the class so that everyone would help Satoko. I’m also pretty happy to see everyone on the same page without fearing that one of them is going to turn against their friends and kill them.
