I’m Standing on a Million Lives Episode 1 Discussion & Gallery

No anime season is complete without an Isekai. For this Fall, we have I’m Standing on Million Lives. Honestly, from what I could gather in episode one, it probably won’t be the best Isekai even. Nevertheless, it still included some twists that made me decide to follow the Anime throughout this season.

The story starts as most Isekais – male character is a hardcore gamer who ends up, in some way, being transported to a world that looks like an RPG. In this case, there are two female classmates already inside that world who have the quest to bring him there. After this, we get the first twist – the main character fighting class. Instead of a mage, warrior, or even rogue, Yuusuke is unlucky enough to get the villager class. I’m sure he’ll get overpowered in no time, but it’s going to be interesting to see what moves he’s going to have.

The second twist is that the Yuusuke isn’t as friendly as it seemed at the beginning of the episode. At the end of the episode, we learn that the male protagonist doesn’t care for the other characters’ well-being if it means beating a boss. This is a great point to start character development, as I’m sure he’s going to change throughout the season.

In the end, while I still believe I’m Standing on One Million Lives is going to be pretty average, I’m still curious to see how the Anime is going to develop. What about you? What are your thoughts on this new Isekai’s first episode? Tell me everything down below. 🙂
