I’m Standing on a Million Lives Episode 12 Discussion & Gallery

I’m not sure how to comment on I’m Standing on a Million Lives (final) episode 12. It just seemed that the Anime was in the middle of the season, with various episodes still to come. And yes – I do understand that the story didn’t finish, and there’s going to be a second season. Still, it would be nice that the Anime ended up with a bang. Most of the episode is spent on Yuusuke trying to come to terms with killing a real person. I didn’t enjoy this part that much due to two main reasons. First, there was already a previous character dealing with something similar (and she actually had a better evolution than Yuusuke). Secondly, it’s a bit out of character. Indeed, it was the first person he killed, making any regular person think twice about life. Still, since it was a get-killed or kill kind of situation, I think the character would brush it off right away.

On a brighter note, I enjoyed watching scenes that prove how the main characters have developed throughout the Anime. I especially enjoyed Kusue – who has more stamina and doesn’t get scared as easily – and Yuka – who seems to not bother with what other people think as much. Finally, the episode introduced the next character (who will only appear in the next season). Well, it didn’t really make me curious to check it out, so I guess it would be best to have that scene on season two’s first episode. Honestly, I’m amazed that an Anime like this got a second season in the first place. I’m happy for the creators, but it does bother me when I think about other great series that deserved to continue and didn’t have the chance.
