I’m Standing on a Million Lives Episode 3 Discussion & Gallery

The more I watch I’m Standing on a Million Lives, the more I believe I was correct at episode one. I understand the idea – it’s an Isekai that showcases a harem. So, like many others already available, the Anime needs to create plotlines where the female characters need to lean on for the male leading character support. Similarly, the Anime also needs to include all types of female character types. We already had the popular one – Iu – and the introvert/weak – Kusue. Episode three added the next troupe – Yuka, the Otaku girl. Honestly, I couldn’t care less for Kusue and Yuka, and I believe the Anime would be better off focusing on Yuusuke’s and Iu’s relationship. But, well, we’ll see how it goes.

One thing I didn’t understand about the third episode was how everyone was shocked by Yuusuke breaking the mean girls’ smartphones. The Anime hints that they were filming Yuka’s naked body, so why don’t the other girls say: “good job”? Due to her personality, I can understand Yuka’s reaction. But why Iu and Kusue seem to condemn Yuusuke for protecting Yuka’s privacy is beyond me.

On the bright side, I liked Iu’s backstory bit. It improved her story overall and made her more of a third-dimension character. Again, I believe it would be best to focus on her and Yuusuke, but I don’t want to repeat myself. That’s basically it – I don’t really have much more to say about the episode. What about you?
