Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun Episode 6 Discussion & Gallery
Who would have thought that Tomozaki-kun would be so good when it came to politics? I mean, for someone who didn’t care about real life that much, he does have a clear idea of what motivates people and how to persuade someone. I especially liked that this episode focused on Nanami. Although she was introduced quite early in the Anime, I think only now we’re getting a good overview of how complex she can be.
As a competitive person myself, I do understand where she’s coming from. Usually, in history, only the number one is recognized. Second place is easily forgotten, even if they were just as good as the first place. However, I do feel the Anime may give the wrong idea to kids watching the Anime (who are probably already facing stress due to societal expectations). Many people (myself included) try to go for perfection. However, perfection is something that doesn’t exist. Even if you see something that you perceive as perfect, I guarantee that the author of that piece (if perfectionist) found several issues with their work after being published. This is a terrible state of mind, as you’re never happy with your work, which may lead to discouragement.
But that’s not everything – second places do take important roles in our society. Sure, in high school, the most popular student might be the one who has the highest marks, best looks, and most athletic body (if that’s possible in real life). Still, when you reach adulthood, you’ll notice that there are many places for the second-best people out there (and third, fourth, fifth, etc.). Even so, it does make Nanami, who always seemed carefree, a more complex character. Did you enjoy Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun episode 6? Tell me everything down below. ?
