Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun Episode 7 Discussion & Gallery
Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun’s episode seven was quite eventful. Several plot points were further expanded, and everything is set for Tomozaki’s new quest completion. I have to say that my feelings for Aoi are becoming a bit complex. On the one hand, I find the girl’s resilience and work ethic surprising. On the other hand, I got the impression that she will do anything in her power to come up on top. Of course, I’m speaking about her speech to become the student council president, where she basically “stole” all of Minami and Tomozaki’s ideas. I know that from a political point of view, it does make sense what she did. And it’s only going to be a problem if she doesn’t follow her promises through. Still, it was a d*** move! Especially when she’s going against one of her best friends.
Meanwhile, Tomozaki’s strategy for the speech would never give Minami’s first place. Although it’s great to have some comedy when you’re doing a speech, the truth is that Minami didn’t promise anything. Most of her talk was around the Navi’s joke, and that was it. So, it’s not surprising that she ended up in second place. I mean, I love to hear some good jokes, but that doesn’t mean I would vote in a comedian for president.
Finally, I’m happy that Tomozaki started making an effort to get an interest in what Fuuka likes. Due to this, when the guy asked her on a date to go watch a movie together, it felt way more natural. It still boggles my mind a little bit since the two don’t seem to be that close at all, especially considering that it’s clear that Tomozaki is falling in love with Aoi. But – hey! It’s just a first date! It doesn’t mean they’re going to become a couple or something. From what I’ve watched so far, I’m guessing that Tomozaki and Fuuka will conclude that it’s better for them to remain friends. Did you enjoy Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun episode 7?
