Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 9 Discussion & Gallery
I’m happy that Jujutsu Kaisen is taking its time to build the foundation for the next arc. However, that means I don’t have much to comment about episode nine since not much has happened. Still, I do have to share some of my thoughts on how good the storytelling is.
Let’s start with Junpei. I’m not sure whether he’s going to be a villain or one of the good guys. But, it’s refreshing to see the authors taking their time explaining his backstory right off the bat. On the one hand, if he becomes one of the antagonists, we can clearly understand why. On the other hand, if he ends up joining Itadori’s group, the character will probably go through various emotional changes until he does so. In short, even if he seems a minor character right now, he’s already a three-dimensional character who I feel sorry for. Usually, when someone is bullied like Junpei, what they’ll become in the future highly depends on who they meet along the way. In this case, Junpei drew the shortest stick and ended up meeting Mahito. However, he does seem to have a good heart, so Itadori might be able to change him later on.
We also got to meet Kento. Honestly, I don’t have much to say about him. He’s a funny character who says everything is sh***. But that’s basically it. Hopefully, he’ll become a deeper character along the way. But, for now, he’s quite shallow. One thing I don’t remember is that white-haired guy who trained Itadori. Did that scene already happened, or was it just randomly put there to explain Itadori’s new powers? It almost seemed that I had jumped an episode somewhere without realizing it. I’m not very fond of these flashback scenes when people are fighting, as I prefer to see the main character doing his best to improve his skill, like in Naruto. Did you enjoy Jujutsu Kaisen episode nine? Tell me everything down below. ?

I’ll be adding new galleries throughout the season as new episodes come out. Enjoy! If you have a website and want to use one of my images, feel free to do so. I’ll be happy if you backlink to this article, but it’s not mandatory.
