Kai Byoui Ramune Episode 9 Discussion & Gallery

I enjoyed Kai Byoui Ramune’s episode nine, but there was a lot of wasted potential. While the labyrinth idea was pretty cool, it was poorly executed – especially because most of the challenges were either too easy to complete or just glossed over. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t have enough time to properly go over the source’s story. But this section could have easily made two or even three episodes of pure fun.

Even so, it was interesting to see an episode that seems to have more into it than a random strange disease. Ramune’s mentor is probably the most mysterious character to appear in Kai Byoui Ramune. I really can’t understand if he’s one of the good or the bad guys, and I love him for it. I’m not sure if the Anime’s last arc is going to focus on this guy, as there are only three more episodes, but I feel it would be a nice way to end the season. Considering that Kai Byoui Ramune has an episodical approach where events don’t have anything to do with previous ones, we would at least get a more central plot at the end.
