Kamisama ni Natta Hi Episode 3 Discussion & Gallery

Another Kamisama ni Natta Hi episode, another random array of events. This time around, Youta helps his sister’s friend – Hikari – in making her ramen restaurant popular again. I’m surprised by how creative the author is. I would never imagine such types of events. Even if I did, I would never be able to give it such a comedic twist. From Youta saying he won a baby-face contest to pass by as a 40-year old to his interview with the movie crew, I laughed the entire episode.

However, it seems everything is going to become quite complicated rather quickly. A new character is introduced in episode 3, who appears to be the story’s antagonist. Not much is known about him besides his advanced hacker skills. More importantly, a crucial hint is given when he appears. His job is to find a missing robot with advanced AI capabilities, created by a scientist who thoroughly studies quantum physics. Basically, this would explain why Hina is omniscient. For the ones who don’t know, there are theories that when we understand how quantum physics work, we’ll know the future. I’m not going to go too deep on this, as this also calls for the theory where the Universe is indefinitely expanding and contracting, where everything has already happened once and, therefore, it will happen at the same time. You could call it the more scientific approach to fate.

Honestly, it makes sense, and it’s a good plot for Kamisama ni Natta Hi’s story. Even so, I’m still a bit sad that we’re already arriving at the point where the Anime is going to become more serious.
