Kamisama ni Natta Hi Episode 9 Discussion & Gallery

Well, that’s what I call moving fast. I wasn’t expecting (at all) that Kamisama ni Natta Hi would have such a turn of events right on episode nine. Not only we got confirmation she’s a robot, but Hina was even taken by the ones who were looking for her. All of this, while the episode focused on Hiroto’s backstory.

Now, let’s start with Hiroto. I believe the author did a good job explaining why he became the brat he is today. Clearly, having your parents taking advantage of your gift to steal money from others would mess anyone up. Especially when he seems to be around five-six years old? And to be honest, his reaction when he finds out that his over-abusive parents were dead made complete sense. Unfortunately, he continues to be abused by the organization. He’s still being used for his gift, and, in the moment they don’t need him, the organization just locked him in some random room. This is a major part of the episode, though, as it’s what makes him have a change of heart and warns Hina about what’s coming.

Alas, it’s too late. Hina realizes what I predicted long ago – she’s (at least) part robot, and that world is ending for her, nobody else. But this doesn’t change anything. Due to her omniscience, she knows that it’s pointless to fight her way out. Even when Youta says everyone loves her and that her friends want her to run. Still, there are three episodes to go, so I’m guessing we’ll see some rescuing happening right away. Honestly, I can’t wait for that! Did you like Kamisama ni Natta Hi episode nine?
