Kemono Jihen Episode 2 Discussion & Gallery

Let me tell you something about my personal life. My boyfriend and I just moved to a new house. Some days ago, we found out that, besides the house, we also bought a cockroach infestation! Since Kemono Jihen is one of the Animes this season I’m watching with my boyfriend, I watch it either while having lunch or dinner. Now… Can you imagine how difficult it was to watch Kemono Jihen’s episode two? From everything that the episode could throw at us – a nasty bug infestation was the least I wanted to watch. It made my skin crawl, and I completely lost my appetite.

But that only means that the episode was well done. Kemono Jihen is supposed to have a darker tone, so making you think whether you should turn off the episode because you’re feeling a bit nauseous is a success in my books.

We also got to know two new characters in this episode. Shiki started a bit too bratty for my taste, and if it wasn’t for that last scene where he speaks about his mother, I was ready to dismiss him. On the other hand, Akira (I won’t write his long last name) was pretty fun to watch. Honestly, his dramatic personality is hilarious. I mean, he kinda fakes that he got upset with Kabane when he said he had a nice body for a girl just to have something to post on social media.

Last but not least, I’m curious to know what that woman meant when she asked Kohachi whether Kabane was a threat… I’m not sure, but both characters just seem to have some evil schemes that we aren’t aware of. Did you enjoy Kemono Jihen’s episode two? Tell me everything down below. ?
