Kimi to Boku no Saigo Episode 8 Discussion & Gallery
After seeing Aliceliese providing the key for Iska’s freedom, I guess I can forgive her! Although what she did was wrong, there wasn’t a better way to say sorry. And even though Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou episode eight focused on Risya releasing the demon, I have to say I never felt the main characters so close. They just traded a few words when Aliceliese left the hotel to fight the demon, but they were quite powerful (relationship-wise).
Overall, I enjoyed the episode. It was a nice trade-off between the more action-based and slower-paced scenes. On the one hand, I hate Risya with all my guts now. On the other hand, I’m finding myself liking Iska even more. Although I still think he’s way too aloof regarding everything that happens to him, it’s amazing how he saved Rin. Even after she was the mastermind behind his kidnapping. Hopefully, this is what the maid needs to change her personality once and for all. She needs to learn that there are many gray spots – not everything is white and black.
Mismis was also useful for a chance. She had to be saved (as always), but at least she was the necessary diversion for the other two to take down all the soldiers. I do have a question, though. How stupid are these soldiers? Usually, prisons have a specific attire, right? So, when a girl shouts that she was released in ordinary clothes, they don’t even bat an eye? If I was them, I would think twice before going after her. Sure, she needed to be restrained, but it would be intelligent to think who she actually was beforehand.
