Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? Episode 11 Discussion & Gallery

Before we get into Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? episode 11, I want to share something a friend of mine mentioned after reading my last article. If you remember, I asked why would Kumoko reincarnate later than her schoolmate. He had an excellent theory that makes complete sense. He believes that everything we’re seeing about Kumoko’s grinding are scenes from the past. In other words, in the current events, she’s the demon lord, who now has a human form. Basically, the giant spider the mage fought 16 years ago is probably Kumoko’s mother. On the other hand, the spider Shun killed was probably Kumoko’s daughter or something like that. It’s a bit out there, but it would be a great plot twist!

Regarding this episode, I loved it! I really enjoy that Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? takes the time to go over Kumoko’s training. This time around, it’s more about the strategy of winning against one of the most powerful monsters living in the cavern. Of course, she’s going to need to think things over before going against him! It’s way better to see this process beforehand than to start the episode with Kumoko fighting the beast and then backtracking to her thoughts. Many Animes have this problem, including Jujutsu Kaisen, and it’s nice to see that Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? does things the correct way.

Other than that, I only want to comment on the snake’s animation. I know it’s 3D, which doesn’t look the best. But the snake’s movement was so spot on that it made my skin crawl – I hate snakes! Did you enjoy Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? Tell me everything down below. ?
