We go from an extremely dark episode to a slice-of-life and cute one. Majo no Tabitabi episode five brings Eleanor’s mentor – Flan – back, and I couldn’t be happier. I love that character with all my guts. Unfortunately, the episode was nothing to write home about. At best, it was a transitory episode with a nice change of pace. That being said, the thing that impressed me the most was the animation. I’ve already mentioned how good Majo no Tabitabi’s animation is, but it really impressed me this time around. Not only the town is beautifully done, but it’s incredible to see that all students have their own design and were drawn up to the detail. Most times, only the main characters get special attention, but not in Majo no Tabitabi’s case.

Other than that, I guess the conversation between Flan and her pupil was quite interesting. They discussed how much Eleanor is sacrificing to be a full-time traveler. She doesn’t have a boyfriend, and she isn’t creating roots anywhere. While it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the truth is that most of her relationships just last for the time she’s visiting. And, even though she’s able to create strong bonds with almost everyone she encounters, at the end of the day, being a traveler is quite lonely. Of course, Eleanor brushes this off, as this is the thing she loves the most, and she wouldn’t trade the freedom of traveling for anything. Even so, it reminded me why I never wanted to a “person of the world”. Although I’m curious about other societies and I would love to live in other countries (especially Japan), I know that I need to be near my family and closest friends to be mentally well. So, I guess the traveler life isn’t for me. Did you enjoy Majo no Tabitabi episode five? Tell me everything down below. ?

I’ll be adding new galleries throughout the season as new episodes come out. Enjoy! If you have a website and want to use one of my images, feel free to do so. I’ll be happy if you backlink to this article, but it’s not mandatory.
