Sk8 the Infinity Episode 8 Discussion & Gallery

Sk8 the Infinity’s episode eight was so freaking good! It had everything I could ask! Cute Reki scene? Check! Crazy skating moves? Check! A background story that actually makes sense? Check! All in all, there’s really no negating aspect to speak about Sk8’s episode eight.

Let me start with Adam’s upbringing. We finally understand what happened for him to be the way he is right now. It seems that skating is really the only thing that makes him going. He doesn’t care for his work, reputation, or even life. But when you see how he was treated by his aunts when he was a kid, it’s easy to understand why. Moreover, you can also understand why he thinks that love means hurting others. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the things he’s doing are forgivable. But it does offer a better overview of the character and makes him more three-dimensional.

Meanwhile, we got to see the evolution of Reki and Langda’s relationship falloff. I guess Langda finally understands that skating isn’t everything. Although Reki should be supportive no matter what, Langda did went against his promise. So, yeah – I’m in Reki’s side for the moment. It also looks like that I was correct – Reki is going to focus on what he knows best – creating excellent skating boards. I mean, the Anime wouldn’t have that sneakers designer interview just because, right?

Finally, the skating moves on this episode were over the moon – especially that thing that Joe did to keep the speed in that tight turn. It was a bit odd that Langa was falling right behind nonetheless, though. Did you enjoy Sk8 the Infinity’s episode eight? Tell me everything down below. ?
