Tatoeba Last Dungeon Episode 5 Discussion & Gallery

I think you can clearly see that I’m loving Tatoeba Last Dungeon. As usual, episode five was hilarious, and I’m seriously considering if this isn’t my favorite Anime of the season. It’s amazing how the author is able to introduce so many jokes in just 20 minutes. Moreover, it’s astonishing how different the jokes are from each other.

I mean, we go from Lloyd completely destroying everything while practicing magic to his hilarious reaction when he encounters Marie naked on the floor and Selen crawling like a cockroach. Sure, it might be a bit random for some – I’ll give you that! But in general, the episode is extremely well placed and was able to accomplish its objective – making the audience laugh non-stop.

Even so, the episode had time to tackle some serious issues. In this case, it started a new arc that will explore Riho’s past. She’s one of my favorite characters of the cast, and her background didn’t disappoint. It also explains her more serious personality and behaving in a more adult way. It’s still difficult to pinpoint what is going to be Tatoeba Last Dungeon’s main plot point. But one thing is certain – the author already showed that they’re incredibly gifted so far.
