Tonikaku Kawaii Episode 2 Discussion & Gallery

If you ever told me that one day I would be watching an Anime scene where two characters selecting which futon to buy and enjoy it, I would tell you that you were crazy. Yet here we are. I don’t know why, but I’m just loving Tonikaku Kawaii. It’s just so freaking cute and funny seeing Nasa overthinking every little thing to deliver the best to his wife – Tsukasa. Right off the bat, I couldn’t help myself but laugh when he started to make the math to see if they were able to fit on his single bed. But, things got even better after Tsukasa arrived.

The thing that I’m loving the most is how Tonikaku Kawaii never goes into the sexualization of the characters, even if there are many opportunities to do so. Nasa’s fighting his urge to kiss Tsukasa while she’s asleep is good evidence of that. But the Anime focusing on Tsukasa stealing the sheets throughout the night and being a restless sleeper is even bigger proof. Moreover, it’s freaking close to the truth – I speak from experience. My boyfriend is also a restless sleeper, and if I’m not careful, I’ll also end up with no bedclothes by the end of the night.

In a nutshell, while the Anime continues without being too deep, Tsukasa’s and Nasa’s relationship is heartwarming to watch, and episode two continued to deliver some hilarious moments here and there. Did you enjoy Tonikaku Kawaii’s second episode? Tell me everything in the comments down below. ?
