Tonikaku Kawaii Episode 3 Discussion & Gallery

I’m sad to say that I didn’t enjoy Tonikaku Kawaii’s episode 3 as much as the first ones. While the show still tried to deliver some jokes, overall, they felt just mildly entertaining. It didn’t help that the episode was all surrounding the bathhouse, either. I mean, I understand why such a setting would be “interesting” – a bathhouse is the perfect moment to offer some fan service; characters are going to be wearing just a towel after all. However, considering that Tonikaku Kawaii has going for the cute factor until now, it felt a bit off, especially when the characters look like middle-schoolers (again, for the cute factor).

That being said, the show started and ended strong. I loved the scene where Tsukasa is super proud of her breakfast, and it was amusing when a shot with her cutting a giant fish appeared. On another note, the episode finished with a small cliffhanger showcasing a new character who probably will stir things up. And that’s it. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about the sisters who run the bathhouse. They’re cute, but that’s basically it. I’m also curious to see what Nasa is going to bring home now that he thinks Tsukasa wants a wedding and a wedding dress. Did you enjoy Tonikaku Kawaii’s episode 3?
