At this point everyone already knows that I’m really a fan of Yaoi and therefore I’ve not watched many Yaoi Animes to the point of liking the characters… So this one was a little difficult to me! 😀 So, I’m going with a shounen-ai one, which does not have explicit sex… I hope that’s ok!!!
Hikaru Kusakabe from Doukyuusei
Well, what can I say about Hikaru… Well, he’s one of the cool guys! Phisically, I love all of him to be honest! The long blond hair, the eyes of can I go to sleep now?, the smoking (yes, it’s bad for your health but it seems cool on him). Regarding his body, well he’s not that muscular but I also always prefered skinny guys, so completely works for me! 😀
Hikaru is supposed to portray the bad and more rebellious type of guys. However, deep down he is not anything like that! He is a free spirit and a talented musician. Yes, he doesn’t really give much about school and is an average student. However, contrary to what it seems like he’s more intelligent than he seems. I love free-spirited guys who like to live their life calmly and doing the things that makes them happy and relaxed.
However, as I said, he is everything but a bad guy! In fact he’s really a nice, cute and empathetic guy! Something that I love about him! Even when it’s just about him reacting to something that was just told you can see that he is a golden heart and he doesn’t hurt a fly!
Other thing I love about Hikaru is how respectful he is. Although not having explicit sex, there is a point where sex is talked about. Well, the way he handles the matter is just nice to watch. He gives the space the other needs and doesn’t try to force anything at all! That’s how gentle he is.
However, don’t try to cross the people he loves you because he will come back for you and beat the crap out of you! Basically he is going to defend the people he loves to the max he cans!
On a side not, if you never watched Doukyuusei do so! It’s such a nice and heartwarming story! It completely deserves more love!
Oh that’s definitely one I want to check out eventually!!
To be honest, I probably read more yaoi manga (or start) more than I watch anime, so my pick will be from on of the manga series I actually finish cause I own the four volume of the manga series.
So my pick is Nakajima Hideaki from Gakuen Heaven
My observation on the character will be base of the manga, not the shounen-ai anime series since I haven’t saw it yet (still debating if I should watch it.)
Nakajima is the vice-president of Bell Liberty (BL got to love that school name) Student council. he is rich and intelligent, plus he is really handsome.
He have that cold aura surrounding him, aura that I really like. He can be really scary sometimes.
I have to say, Nakajima doesn’t have a lot of good qualities, other than he never give up, when he set his mind on something, he don’t give up half away and he protect the one he care about.
Well, it has been a close call in the latest votes and I believe this one will be the same!
Nevertheless I just want to say that I FINALLY got some points in my back! In last week I won both othe the challenges and therefore the points are now at 4-2 for Mel (of course). Maybe this was the turning point and I still am able to get the lead? I dunno, let us see, let us see!

Ok. My personal pick other than these two is Reichi senpai from Komatta Toki ni Wa Hoshi ni Kikke. Now that guy…. is a eye catcher. And he has great personality to boot, at least if you like the manipulative put nice thing….
I’ve googled him and yeah… You are right! It’s a eye catcher alright! 😀 But I still prefer my Hikaru xD
