Beastars Season 2 Episode 5 Discussion & Gallery

It’s funny how some Animes can have slow (yet extremely interesting) scenes. Beastars episode five beginning is a clear example of that. Although Louis and Juno’s conversation didn’t add anything to the table, the truth is it was an enjoyable watch. Moreover, you can see that the Anime is slowly building the characters and a possible romantic relationship in the future. This steady evolution makes a huge difference, as we have time to fall in love with the characters and understand the fine details of their personalities.

Meanwhile, Legoshi overwent a radical transformation, which made the episode feel more dynamic. Of course, I’m speaking about his fur (or lack of it). Not gonna lie – it’s going to take a minute until I get used to the new character design, especially because I loved the original so much. Still, Legoshi does look good as a white wolf. His training, though – can’t imagine how difficult it must be for him not to eat meat when he’s closed in a room, starving, and with the forbidden fruit right in front of him. I loved that scene, and I hope Legoshi is strong enough to overcome his desires. However, I’m not sure how he’s going to change society as an all. In other words, I don’t see many carnivorous passing the test Legoshi is taking right now.

Even though I find Pina extremely obnoxious, I did enjoy his intervention in this episode. For a second, I even thought that he was hitting on Legoshi, but the truth is even weirder. I can’t really understand his objective or why does he have the kink of getting eaten. So, I’ll have to say that I’m quite curious to see what he is going to do next.
