Kemono Jihen Episode 4 Discussion & Gallery

I’m not gonna lie – Kemono Jihen’s pace is kinda slow so far. I know that the Anime will probably have plenty of episodes, so it makes sense to build each part slowly, but it’s challenging to have something to say when you’re watching it weekly. It’s like Naruto, you know? Excellent Anime – if you watch it after everything came out. On a weekly basis, though… Not so much, as the fillers and the time everything took to develop would mean months of waiting for something important to happen.

So, yeah – episode four focused more on Akira’s background and power. I mean, I’ve been complaining that we didn’t have the opportunity to witness Akira’s power in the previous episodes, so I was happy to see that the mystery has finally been solved. As expected, his freezing power is out of this world, but I have to say that I expected more of his background. I mean, it explains why he’s the way he is, but it didn’t feel 100% realistic – why would his brother just call him weak and say to not bother with any problems? I don’t know. Hopefully, there will be more insight on this to make it more understandable.

On the other hand, I loved the small mission they had about the guy who wants to be with a cat. It was a nice change of pace where the characters didn’t have to actually fight to solve the problem. It also had a quite nice ending, as the guy and the ‘spirit’ cat ended up dating and living together. Did you enjoy Kemono Jihen’s episode four? Tell me everything down below. ?
