Majo no Tabitabi Episode 9 Discussion & Gallery

When Majo no Tabitabi started with a disclaimer, I knew I was in for a treat! And I wasn’t disappointing. I do need to address how the Anime is becoming a bit all over the place, to the point where I don’t know who’s Majo no Tabitabi main target audience. But I will leave that for the final review. Until then, I’ll focus on episode nine as it is.

If you’ve been reading my content for a while, you already know I’m a sucker for anything gore. So, I was overjoyed with Majo no Tabitabi episode nine. It just hit the spot! I’ve actually watched lighter Animes that are categorized as horror. Still, I can’t say it was surprising. From the moment the witches were discussing the murderess, I knew that Selena was the one who killed her parents. But that’s Majo no Tabitabi for you. If you think a little bit, you’ll get to the conclusion of the story quite early on.

I may have known what was going to happen, but I still enjoyed watching the story playing out. Especially when it comes to the episode’s climax. The animation was horrifying, and I loved the last shot where we see Selena’s severed head. Meanwhile, I also liked Estelle. I believe it was a well-built character, and I grew fond of her instantly. Finally, it’s nice to see Elaina in a moment of weakness. She’s always over-confident and can even be a bit obnoxious. So, seeing her struggling with herself was great to build her character.
