Akudama Drive Episode 2 Discussion & Gallery
Akudama Drive is probably the Anime I’m loving the most this Fall season. If episode one was already excellent, then episode two was even better. I love the animation, the crazy characters, the mystery surrounding the main plot, and the funny moments. In a nutshell, I’m loving this Anime in all aspects.
I have to say that I got a bit scared that the creators had killed my favorite character (doctor) on episode two, though. But, of course, since she’s able to self-medicate, she’s able to stitch her neck back-to-back. How didn’t I think about something so simple? Just kidding – Akudama Drive clearly is not to be taken seriously.
We finally got to know a little more about the city’s story from a cute puppy show and finally understand why all characters were grouped together. Honestly, I didn’t understand the city’s background very well – some gods attacked the city, completely destroyed it, and then decided to help the people rebuild it? And, because of that, those people started to worship them. I think that’s it, right? Well, I guess I understood the most important part – these Gods have the upper hand and are using their power to get the most out of the city’s materials and resources for themselves, and the main characters’ job is to make sure this stops happening.
Honestly, I don’t really care. Just give me good animation, fast-paced action, blood, and funny characters, and I’m good. Sometimes you just want to unwind, and a basic story is more than enough. I would say that my only problem with the Anime is the cat animation when it’s talking. It’s not the first time I noticed this in Anime, but it’s strange to hear the cat talking when its mouth is closed or in a yawning position. Did you enjoy Akudama Drive’s second episode? Tell me everything in the comments down below. ?
I’ll be adding new galleries throughout the season as new episodes come out. Enjoy! If you have a website and want to use one of my images, feel free to do so ? I’ll be happy if you backlink to this article, but it’s not mandatory ?
