Beastars Season 2 Episode 1 Discussion & Gallery

Beastars season two finally aired! I’ve been waiting for this since the first one ended! It’s without a doubt one of my favorite Anime shows of all time, and I couldn’t be happier than to speak about it this Winder Season. I’ll tell you what I loved about episode one, but first, let me take out something from my chest. Considering that the Anime waited over one year to get a season two, I would prefer that there was more recap of what happened at the end of the season. Most people suffer the same problem as me – lack of time – and can’t go and rewatch season one all over again.

With that out of the way, the episode was quite entertaining. Even though the story focused on something completely different – paranormal activity and such – I just loved watching Legoshi going on with his normal life. Since only one month has passed in the story, it’s normal that things are the way we left off. Haru and Legoshi’s relationship has a long way to go until it gets romantic, Juno is still in love with Legoshi, and (surprisingly) Louis is MIA for most of the episode.

We might not have seen what showed up in from of Legoshi at the end of the episode. But, by the sound, I’m pretty sure it’s a rattlesnake. If I’m correct, then Beastars just did a terrific job! Not only is the snake moving through the pipes (any Potterheads out there?), but they actually called Orochimaru’s voice actor to voice the snake! This is just smart, to be honest! As a fan of both the Potter books and Naruto, I was thrilled when I heard the snake speaking. Overall, it was a good episode – what I would expect from Beastars – and I can’t wait to watch the next one.
