Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 16 Discussion & Gallery

Toudou and Itadori’s fight must be the strangest battle I’ve seen in my life. They’re basically fighting to the death but bonding at the same time. Not only that, but Toudou is actually teaching Itadori how to get better, and the scenes where they just seem like two regular best friends going to the same high school is hilarious. However, that’s not what Jujutsu Kaisen’s episode 16 focuses on. Instead, we get a really neat fight between Panda and Mechamaru.

The animation was excellent as always, and the battle exciting to watch. I know they aren’t the most important characters of the Anime, but I still enjoyed knowing more about their past. Especially panda, who I was quite curious to understand whether it was human or not. I guess not, but nothing beats the cuteness of watching a baby panda with a dummy. His power is also quite overpowered – he has three different ‘souls’ inside him that don’t die. To actually kill him, you’ll have to kill the three souls without giving time to any of them to restore. We didn’t get to see his older sister, but I’m sure she’s going to be even stronger than his brother. When it comes to Mechamaru… Meh, I don’t really have much to say about him. I loved the design and the idea behind the character, but the character itself was pretty average.
