Kimi to Boku no Saigo Episode 4 Discussion & Gallery
If Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou episode 3 went all out, this one had a far more relaxing vibe. It was a nice (and perhaps necessary) change of pace that introduced us to new information about the world Iska and Aliceliese are living in. Before that, we have an amusing scene where both Iska and Aliceliese are nearby each other in the neutral city without actually ever seeing each other. The only nitpick I have about this was the bucket full of coins thingy. So, the cute captain is trying to win big in the casino to buy a new tank. She starts with a bucket full of chips, which she proceeds to spend without winning anything at all. Then, Aliceliese hits the jackpot and offers a whole bucket of chips to Nene. When Nene arrives with the money, Mismis reacts in a way that seems she finally has enough to get the tank. But the question is – didn’t she just end up with the same money she had at the beginning? I’m confused.
Other than that, I was happy with the new plotlines of the story, mainly about the internal political fights within Nebulis. This changes things entirely as it seemed that Aliceliese’s family was the only royal blood existent. This will make things even more interesting, as Aliceliese now has to battle on two fronts. Can’t wait to see how she overcomes this predicament. On the other hand, we met Nameless – the strongest Imperial soldier. He’s an… interesting character, to say the least. Most importantly, the Anime also hinted that something is going on within the Empire that we’re not aware of that will make things more exciting. Anyways, when it comes to this episode, it was just your enjoyable/average episode. Didn’t love it, but I also didn’t hate it. What about you?
