Majo no Tabitabi Episode 1 Discussion & Gallery

Majo no Tabitabi is definitely a curious Anime. After watching the first episode, I don’t have a clue how is the Anime plot going to develop. Is it going for an episodical approach where each episode focuses on a specific theme, or is it going to focus on a main plotline? I really don’t know. What I do know is that the Anime’s animation is breath-taking. The environment is beautifully done, and the characters are very well designed.

Overall, I enjoyed Majo no Tabitabi’s first episode. I thought we would see Elaine’s training for a couple of episodes, but it seems everything was settled in just 20 minutes. Even so, it was more than enough to love both the main character and her mentor. We also got character evolution off the bat, which is always a plus. I’ve seen many Anime titles failing this throughout various episodes, so seeing that Majo no Tabitabi is able to make me root for the main character in the first episode is a good omen.

If the Anime goes for an episodical approach, such as Mushishi, I’m not sure if I will enjoy it as much. More often than not, this type of approach starts to become repetitive, as there’s not enough time for you to get into all the supporting characters. That being said, Elaina might have just enough charisma for the Anime to pull this off. Have you enjoyed Majo no Tabitabi’s first episode? Tell me everything in the comments down below ?
