Wonder Egg Priority Episode 3 Discussion & Gallery

I’m not sure how they’re doing this, but Wonder Egg Priority is becoming better with each episode. The animation was already excellent, but it got even more beautiful. On the other hand, the little evolution that Ai got through these three episodes just made her an even more interesting character. Finally, the new supporting characters are also extremely complex, where you’re not sure whether you like them or not.

Since the episode focused mainly on the new character – Rika – I guess I’ll also speak mainly about her in this article. It’s probably one of the hardest characters to crack. On the one hand, she seems hateful. Even if she said those nasty things so that her fan would stop shoplifting, they’re still quite messed up. On the other hand, after seeing that she’s a cutter, I wonder what kind of ordeals she has been through. Her parents seem to be completely out of the picture, so I don’t know who she promised she wouldn’t cut herself anymore. Maybe the fan and we still don’t know the full story yet? I’m intrigued with this character and will need some more time to have a formed opinion on her.

Meanwhile, the story of the girls who Ai and Rika are saving was pretty meh. I really hope this is not something that happens in real life – people killing themselves because their idol has passed away.
