I’m Mysterious… The Good Kind Of Mysterious I Hope
Hi everyone and welcome to my place!
It’s another Award Monday!!! This time I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award by KingDylbagblog.
First of all, thank you so much King! 😀 I think everyone knows him by know, he is way more present in the community overall than me and the proof of that is how big is getting in such a fast pace! 😀 He blogs about a lot of stuff, but my favorite has to be his drawings! 😛 If you don’t know him, go follow him because you are missing out!
I think one of the last words I would use to describe myself would be mysterious, I mean… I’m just basically an open book, I always talk my mind, if you like it or not and I’m way too honest when it comes talking about my experiences! However, I always wanted to have that cool look of a mysterious guy who girls and boys (specially boys xD) fall for just because of the coolness I transpire… Of course I’m completely the contrary to be honest ahah But, non the less, thank you King for thinking about me as mysterious! It really brighten my day and I hope you see me as the cool kind of mysterious and not the creepy one xD
Let’s first address the most important point of an Award:

3 things about myself…
Let’s see if I still have anything interesting to share with you:
- I dream of making my living as a blogger/youtuber – Probably you already know, but this dream has getting stronger and stronger… Blogging seems to be the only thing I did in my life that I can’t get tired of… The only thing that bugs me at the moment is that I don’t have enough time to work on it honestly!!! This brings me to the second thing about myself.
- I get tired of things pretty fast – Yeah… You know that people who do something they love and never get tired of it… Yeah, I would like to have something like that! I am starting to realize that anything I do I basically tend to start getting tired pretty quickly. I think it’s because it stops being a challenge pretty fast and I see myself always in a routine… It doesn’t mean I’m doing a bad job because my work ethic is way too strong for starting slacking… It only means that I stop being happy with anything I’m doing pretty fast and that just sucks (Maybe I’m just having a bad day/week)
- I was tested to skip a class – In a happier and positive note, when I was in my first grade I did IQ tests and my parents were given the choice to skip me one year and enroll in the third grade instead of the second (I mean, I was doing second grade tests and having 100%…). Fortunately my parents said no! Yeah, I said fortunately! XD To be honest I don’t think skipping grades is a good thing… I was way happier by studying with friends with my age and go to university with 18 years old instead of a minor.
Now, for the 5 questions from King:
- Whats your favourite TV show?
Hmm can I pick 2 please????? My all time favourite has to be Friends (of course), but in a more dramatic note you have Downton Abbey! I just loved that TV show!
- Whats your favourite Genre for music?
I don’t really have one to be honest. You can see me jamming while listening to Pop and in a few moments later jamming to classic music (I’m not even kidding). However, the genre I’m listening more nowadays is POP. Unless we can call Rihanna a genre? If we can then it’s her!
- Whats your new years resolution?
Sorry King, really took me a lot of time answering this didn’t it? We are already in March! I don’t follow new years resolutions xD And last week I talked about writing a book, so this time is getting better at digital marketing. It’s the area I’m working right now and I feel that I still have a lot to learn!
- What are you excited for in 2018?
Final Fantasy VII… If it’s not yet again delayed to 2019, which by talking with Irina I think it probably will -.-”

Hello! I’ll answer my nomination here in the comments if that’s okay… I really enjoy these things but tend to avoid doing too many of them on the main page of my site due to its structure and the way I like to keep things laid out. It’s not by any means that I don’t want to participate, just wanted to make that clear! 🙂
Okay then.
THREE THINGS ABOUT MYSELF:
– I am a fully qualified classroom teacher, but after my experiences working in that field for a few years I have absolutely no desire to return to it ever again!
– I am quite a bit older than the majority of people I seem to interact with online; I’m 36 years old, and my wife and I have found that since our respective friends have started having families and stuff (neither of us want to have kids), we’ve started naturally gravitating towards slightly younger people for socialising. Also babies irritate the crap out of both of us.
– I’ve found myself drifting through “friendship groups” quite a bit over the years, but I’m pretty sure my favourite group of people to “hang out with” is the current group of anime enthusiasts and bloggers I identify most strongly with right now. (That almost certainly includes you if you’re reading this!)
And onto the questions, then!
WHAT IS THE THING YOU NEVER GET TIRED OF DOING?
Playing video games. It’s such an incredibly diverse, inspiring medium that I never, ever get bored of it. There’s always something to entertain me, whatever mood I’m in. If I want high drama, I have games that cater to that. If I want to cry and sob like a little child, I have games that cater to that. If I want to scare myself silly, I have games that cater to that. And if I just want to test my skill in some abstract way, I have games that cater to that, too! I’ll never run out of games to play, and I will continue to champion them as the wonderful form of entertainment they are for as long as I live.
IF SOMEONE YOU LOVED HAD A CURE FOR A DISEASE WHICH WAS DESTROYING HUMANITY, BUT THE TESTS TO DEVELOP A VACCINE WOULD KILL HER, WOULD YOU CONSENT AND LET HER GO OR WOULD YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO SAVE HER?
I’d consent. Reluctantly. And I’d cry a lot. But I’d consent. Given the opportunity to do “the right thing” I generally weigh up the options and end up doing “the right thing”, even if it hurts to do so. Tragedy can make you stronger and even inspire you to do great things after the fact; losing someone under these circumstances would almost certainly leave me wanting to live the rest of my life so that their sacrifice wasn’t in vain afterwards.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SWEET FROM YOUR COUNTRY?
If we’re talking “sweets” in terms of chocolate bars, anything involving Cadbury chocolate is hard to beat. I’m particularly partial to the Double Decker, which incorporates chocolate, nougat and crunchy biscuity bits, and is also a leading contributor to me being fat. If we’re talking “sweets” in the way anime characters use it (which tends to mean “cake”) then I think I’d have to go with the custard slice. Which is also a leading contributor to me being fat.
WHAT IS THE TYPE OF MONSTER YOU LIKE THE BEST AND THE LEAST?
I love monster designs with a degree of eroticism about them, so I’m all about things like lamias and succubi and suchlike. I think they’re interesting because their sexuality makes them incredibly compelling, tempting and enormously dangerous… plus we get shows like Monster Musume that shows “monstrous” characters like this can have a fun side, too. In that sense, well, Miia is probably the monster I like the best. 🙂
As for least… hmm. I think it would have to be one of the more “generic” fantasy monsters like orcs. I just think they’re boring. I’m not generally a big fan of the “tribal” aesthetic generally, whether it’s with regard to heroes or villains, and orcs tend to encapsulate all the things that I find least interesting. You’re in a fantasy world and the best you can come up with is an ugly illiterate humanoid with anger management issues? Nah. Do better!

MY BEST POST
I always end up extremely proud of anything that requires extensive research and “further reading” to put together, and I have a number of good examples throughout my site (search for anything with “Introduction and History” or “Historical Context” in its title!). Succubi is one of mine favorite too! Like you said, It’s about being sexy and deadly at the same time! 😛 And I also hate orcs ahahah But I see it more as a faction and not “monsters” xD Depends on the game you are playing

This was interesting to pop up among the comments, I simply had to read it! Also the three thing about yourself. I can relate to the first two facts. N.1 being a teacher myself, its not something I plan on staying…at all ?
N.2 being 30+ and in the same situation where my partner and I do not want to have any kids. Our friends are older (40+) but have the same feeling about not wanting children.
Getting our own parents to accept this was quite a hassle and I know they’re still hoping we’ll change our minds one day ?

Working full time as a blogger would be awesome. Years ago it was very possible to make income from YouTube, but all the changes that have been implemented recently make that very difficult now.
Yeah, completely agree with you… At the moment you receive so low income from the ads that for you to strive you have to create a brand around yourself and create incone doing other things such as sponsors (and for that you already need to have a fan base). And let’s face the huge Youtubers around or started when the Youtube basically started or came out from Vine and in there they were also one of the first coming around 😛
