It’s strange to see an episode where Akira needs to solve things on his own. It’s true that it’s the only way for him to grow, and episode 11 already showed some character development. But, more than that, it was heartbreaking to watch what Akira’s brother had to go through.

Although the Anime didn’t expressly show or stated the fact, it’s clear what’s the main goal of Akira’s village chief. Basically, Yui was constantly raped by the women, as his main job is to impregnate them. It makes sense, though. For a village where only women live, it’s necessary to have a way to have kids. So, it’s not like this fact was added for shock value or something similar.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy that much about this story was the idea women are prone to be jealous of each other in terms of beauty. There were far more interesting explanations for the face mask use. For instance, the women could use that as a way to be just one or prevent Yui from recognizing (and favoring) specific citizens. Still, it was a great back story.

I still don’t understand Yoko’s objective – I just know that I hate her. From the intro, I knew she wasn’t going to be the nicest character ever but didn’t think she would be so annoying. Meanwhile, it’s surprising how good of an actor Akira is. I mean, I know it’s easy to lie to Kabane. Even so, he was able to put a great façade of not caring about anyone. Did you enjoy Kemono Jihen’s episode 11? Tell me everything down below. ?

I’ll be adding new galleries throughout the season as new episodes come out. Enjoy! If you have a website and want to use one of my images, feel free to do so. I’ll be happy if you backlink to this article, but it’s not mandatory.
